Our Services

After 28 years of practicing Podiatric Medicine. I have developed packages of services designed to resolve the majority of your foot care needs. What sets my practice apart is transparency. I openly post the prices for all of my general podiatric services. This however, does not imply that I practice “one size fits all” medicine. Every patient receives a thorough history and examination by me, not an assistant. I invite you to visit my practice and see for yourself.

This is our signature service. Most podiatrists offer a medical pedicure as an alternative to cosmetic pedicures normally offered at nail salons. The emphasis is on providing a safe environment with sterilized instrumentation. However, the service is basically the same as a salon pedicure. There is no Podiatric care of corns, callouses, fungal, or ingrown nails rendered. The cost for these medical pedicures range from $175.00 to $250.00.

Our medical pedicure lives up to its name. We provide strict medical sterilization of all the instrumentation that is used. The treatment consists of the following:

  • Hydrotherapy in our medical whirlpool prior to the treatment
  • A medical evaluation of your feet by me, including any medication that may be needed to be prescribed for any condition diagnosed
  • Mechanical debridement of all corns, callouses, fissures, etc. Trimming and reduction of nails, including debridement of thick or ingrown nails
  • Application of a lubricating peel, in order to restore your feet’s skin

The benefits of this treatment on a monthly basis is as an overall improvement to a patient’s gait and comfortable shoe wear that is beneficial to the patient’s entire musculoskeletal wellness.
I feel a picture tells a thousand words…

The cost for this service is $80.00
*For an additional $5.00 nails may be painted using a medical nail enamel that is both a fungicide and a nutrient. We offer a vast variety of colors to chose from.

Ingrown toenails occur when the skin on the side of a toenail grows over the edge of the nail or when the nail grows into the skin. They can be very painful and lead to serious infections if not treated.

Common causes of ingrown toenails are improper trimming, tight shoes, trauma or a hereditary malformation of the nail. Chronic ingrown nails can represent a disability for someone who has to work on their feet. The challenge for most people is that they don’t have the time to be off their feet recovering from nail surgery.

Lunch Time Nail Surgery

The name “Lunch Time Nail Surgery” came from one of my patients as she described my ingrown nail surgical technique and frankly, it stuck. Obviously, it can be performed any time of the day, however it is so simple and quick to perform, you have enough time to have this procedure done during lunchtime.

A “needle- free” transdermal injector used to numb the affected toe. The ingrown portion of the nail is removed and the matrix of the affected border (the tissue where the nail grows from) is removed non-traumatically. Leaving the rest of the nail intact.

The cost for the procedure is only $200.00

The procedure takes approximately 15 minutes. Patients leave the treatment room wearing their own shoes. There is no postoperative pain since no toe tourniquet or chemical burn of the matrix is used (as is done in regular nail surgery). Patients return to normal activities in a couple of days.

The cost for this revolutionary procedure is only $200.00

Stop suffering from ingrown nail pain once and for all, make an appointment

It has been medically documented that nearly 85% of the population suffer from foot related problems, mainly pain. These foot problems are due to a misalignment between our feet and the rest of the body. Generally speaking, the foot can either be hypermobile (pronated) or rigid (supinated). These imbalances can lead to flat feet, hammertoes, metatarsalgia, bunions, heel spurs(plantar fasciitis) ,ankle pain, hip pain and 45% of the cases of lower back pain in the U.S. for the last five years. A recent study indicated that approximately 80% of all foot pain and 60% of all lower back pain is biomechanical in nature and thus can be resolved by using an orthotic.

What is an orthotic?

An insole device that goes into your shoes in order to help correctly align your feet with the rest of your body. Normally a patient ‘s condition is evaluated in a podiatrist’s office.

The doctor makes a cast mold of the patient’s feet in order to custom make orthotics. However, the average cost for this service ranges from $300-$600. This is quite prohibitive for most patients. Furthermore, it can take up to two weeks for the patient to receive the orthotics.

What makes us different from the rest?

I perform a detailed biomechanical evaluation of a patient’s lower extremity. Once I have determined the patient’s condition or foot type. I mold a custom orthotic using a new advanced UV light technology casting system. It forms a lightweight, comfortable, semi rigid orthotic, covered with PORON for superior shock absorption. These orthotics achieve something the majority of functional orthotics do not, comfortable wear. These orthotics are thin enough to fit in most shoe types. They are also the most comfortable functional orthotics on the market today.

However, what really makes this system truly unique is that we can dispensed them to the patient on the same day!

The cost for this unique service is just $200.00

Perhaps the most common condition I see routinely is heel pain. The heel bone bears most of the weightbearing stress when we walk. It makes it susceptible to biomechanical, arthritic, vascular, neurological and even trauma from daily activities. Heel pain is dependent on a patient’s foot type to a lifestyle change, i.e., gaining a few pounds.

Plantar Fasciitis

Plantar fasciitis is an inflammation of a thick broad ligament that runs from the heel to the ball of the foot. The result is heel pain particularly in the morning when getting out of bed. This is due because the ligament which is “sore” when the patient bears weight on it after stepping out of bed.

Heel Spurs

A heel spur is a bony growth on the underside of the heel. It is formed by tiny jagged calcium deposits on the heel bone. Chronic plantar fasciitis leads to the formation of heel spurs.

The difference between heel spurs and plantar fasciitis is in the location of the pain. Plantar fasciitis produces pain in the arch area. The heel spur produces pain on the center of the heel.

Our treatment package for plantar fasciitis and heel spurs consists of a complete clinical examination, Including a muscular skeletal sonogram. A steroid cocktail injection of the affected area (if necessary). Dispensing of home care regimen consisting of exercise and /or stretching and the prescription of a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medication (if necessary). Furthermore, prescribing an effective orthotic device in order improve the alignment of the fascia (if necessary).

The cost of this package is just $200.00
